Laugh Kookaburra WIRED Article
Here, I was given an article and had to create a magazine spread for the story that followed the standards of how WIRED Magazine would set up the story. The article itself, written by David Sedaris, is an introspective story that focuses around a vacation he took in Australia, and how seeing some kookaburras there unearthed a memory of child abuse by his father, and how it affects him in the present. Given the serious content of the story itself, I decided to create imagery that echoes the more sombre mood of the story, while also making specific references to moments in the story.
